She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Manning; and her daughter Patricia Hewitt. She is survived by: her children, Kerri Manning-Freeo, Lisa Maldonado, John Manning, Alexander Manning and Maria Manning; and her grandchildren, Nicole Freeo, Trevor Freeo, Alicia Raymond, John, Abigail Manning, Helena, Nolan Maldonado, Milo, Felix Moorhead and Domnick Belajonas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Marilyn's memory to a charity that supports fostering and adoption, as she dedicated a significant portion of her life to providing loving homes for children in need.
