We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Marie Steel of Union Beach, New Jersey, born in Plainfield, New Jersey. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zimmermann and Lieselotte Zimmermann; her husband William Steel; her son Billy Joe Steel; and her siblings, John Zimmermann and Ruth Slowikowski.
She is survived by: her son Matthew; her daughter-in-law Melanie Steel of Union Beach; her granddaughter Emily Steel of Union Beach; her sisters, Rose Levy of Florida, Shirley Wallitsch of Plainfield and Janie Siernos; her adoptive son Dan Couillard of South Plainfield; and her pets, Jade and Snowball. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home (233 Carr Ave, Keansburg, NJ 07734).
