Edmund Beekman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edmund Beekman of Union Beach, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 5, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Beekman and Mabel Beekman (Nelson); his siblings, Daniel Beekman and Martha Henretty; and his aunt Martha Petrozzo.
He is survived by: his children, Hayley Butler (Frank) of Hazlet and Drew Beekman (Alicia) of Michigan; his grandchildren, David, Cody Beekman and Avery Butler; his friend Elizabeth Beekman; his sisters, Mabel Colangeli (Giulio) and Irene Ellis; and his aunt Doris Borelli. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to NYU Langone Health, in recognition of Edmund Beekman VAD care team.
