He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chaplin and Katherine Chaplin; and his wife Bettie Kennedy. He is survived by: his children, David, Daniel, Mary (Paul), Peggy (David) and Susan; and his sister Norma. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
