He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer W. Griscom and Ruth Tanner Heal Griscom. He is survived by: his wife Carol Irish; his children, Leeanne Scribner (Patrick), David C. Griscom (Karla), Susanne Pelikan (James) and NJ; his sisters, Mary Lou Taylor, Virginia Doran and Elizabeth Davies; his grandchildren, Andrew Simpson (Jennifer), Erin Lear (Matthew), Benjamin Griscom (Beth), Lindsay Griscom, Stephanie Barnard (Josh), Ryan Brandl (Alexis), John "Blue" Pelikan, David Pelikan, Kaleigh Pelikan and Jacob Pelikan; his great grandchildren, Levi Simpson, Wendy Simpson, Ava Lear, David Lear, Lucas Griscom and Elliana Barnard; his children, Ken Solem (Kristin), Signe Stubits (Jay) and Jon Erik Solem (Kim); his grandchildren, Ed Stubits (Danielle), Ryan Stubits, Jake Solem, Luke Solem, Zachary Solem, Rebecca Solem, Rachel Solem, Colin Robitaille Lauren Solem and Jacqueline Solem; and also Tyler Stubits. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
