He was predeceased by: his wife Loreta A. Gafgen; and his siblings, Bill, Bobby, Andy, Thomas, Marie, Jean and Betty.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Gafgen Jr. (Chris) of Levittown, PA., Debbie Gafgen of Lugoff, S. C., Kevin Gafgen (Sandy) of Browns Mills, N. J., Lisa Monroe (Carl) of Trenton, N. J., Louis Sexton (Charlene) of West Creek, N. J., Barbie Gafgen and Kim Sarafian; and his father Richard F. Gafgen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
