She was predeceased by: her parents, William Miller Shropshire and Mary Jane; her husband Joseph William Paynter Jr. of Grassy Sound, NJ; and her son Jack Paynter of Estell Manor, NJ.. She is survived by: her children, Joseph William Paynter III of Petersburg, NJ, Thomas William Paynter Sr. of Millville, NJ, Elma Lou Dilks of Tuckahoe, NJ and Mary Jo Grundlock of Ocean View, NJ.; and her siblings, William Shropshire, James Shropshire, Charles Shropshire and Mary Leah Ware. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
