He is survived by: his parents, Wilfredo Mendez Sr. and Sandra Melendez Mendez; his son Julian Wilfredo Mendez; his sister Damariz Gonzalez; his brother-in-law Victor; and his nephews, Wilfredo Ivan Mendez and Joel Gary Mendez. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
