She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacquelin Davis and Mary Davis; and her siblings, Jackie Ruhl, Mary Ellen Doughty and Bruce Davis.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Wayne Ruhl, Beverly Parada (Manny), Brian Ruhl (Dawn), Susan Doughty, Christine Sharp (Christopher) and Ed Doughty (Jenny); her brother-in-law Mel Ruhl (Coleen); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jake Hillman (Ashton), Jenna Hillman, Justin Hillman, Brian J. Ruhl, Anthony Ruhl, Ellie Doughty and Grady Doughty; her godchildren, Zachary, Elliott and Arianna Brame; and her friends, Joan Brame, Ann Degorski and Linda Powner.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Susan's name to the American Kidney Fund 11921 Rockville Pike , Suite 300 Rockville, MD 20852.

“Wayne and family, My wife and I are deeply saddened by Sue's passing. As you know Sue was a longtime neighbor and high school classmate of mine. She was a wonderful, warm person. Though in recent months I seldom saw Sue, she was always on my mind as I walked past her home. During my morning walk I'd often toss her newspaper onto the front porch knowing she had difficulty getting around. I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend the visitation or service. You have our deepest sympathies. John Vanellis”
