He was predeceased by: his parents, James Breese and Mary Breese; and his siblings, Charles Breese and Anna Breese. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Breese; his children, Robert Breese Jr. (Holly), David C. Breese, Christopher W. Breese, Kevin M. Breese, Jamie A. Breese and Laura Jackson (Keith); his foster children, Sharon and Gary Everett; and his siblings, James Breese and Helen Carmen.
