He is survived by: his grandson David Richard; his children, Patrick Carr and Elizabeth; his son-in-law David Hovemeyer; his granddaughter Maggie; his sister Jeanne Conklin-Kauf; and his brother-in-law Howard Kauf. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews; his many dear friends.
