She was predeceased by: her parents, Soto Ayala and Anna Martinez; her husband David Valdes; her siblings, Robert Martin and Nancy Hernandez; and her brother-in-law Fred Killian.
She is survived by: her son Manuel Galarza (Anna); her grandchildren, Dillon, Royal Ortiz, Ivan and Alexandra Galarza; and her siblings, FiFi Cruz, Helena Killian and Nelson Ayala.
