She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lewis and Mary Lewis (Furda); her brother George Lewis; and her grandson John Schneider Jr.. She is survived by: her granddaughter Mary; her husband Carl W. Elston; her children, Carl Elston Jr. (Jennifer) and Barbara Schneider; her grandchildren, Kristin Alsieux (Cody), Kasey Lynn Schneider (Jeffrey Dallaris), Kourtney and Kody Schneider; her stepgrandchildren, Julia and Christopher Hetrick; her great grandchildren, Aulbrey and Daniel Alsieux; her sister-in-law Barbara Lewis; her nephew Scott Lewis; and her niece Kelly Metz.
