She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hartz and Mildred Hartz; her brother Donald Hartz; her parents-in-law, Elias and Elizabeth Simon; her nieces, Catherine Cherris Colon and Susan Powers; and her nephew Mark Hartz.

She is survived by: her husband Ellis Simon; her children, Donald Simon and Leigh Ann Dunleavy; her son-in-law Michael Dunleavy; her grandsons, Christopher and Patrick Dunleavy; her brother Henry Hartz; her siblings-in-law, Marge Powers, Kathie Tufano, Nena Hartz, Darlene Servis, Richard Tufano and James Shannon; her nieces, Marsha Keller, Karen Hartz, Christine Kumar, Doreen Miller Couture, Dawn Mcnamara and Cindy Cook; her nephew Charles Cherris; and her cousins, Roberta Allen and Robert Kammerer.
