It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Johnston of Trenton, New Jersey, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mattei and Anna Mattei; her husband Henry Joseph Johnston; her son-in-law Dr. Robert Sopko; and her sister Antoinette Innocenzi.
She is survived by: her siblings, Elizabeth Minelli, Seraphino "Jiggs", Philip, Matthew, Reginald and Ernest Mattei; her daughter Barbara Sopko; her grandchildren, Dr. Robert Paul Sopko (Steven Jourdain), Beth (Michael Bedard) and Amy (Scott Kieley); her great grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Kristen Bedard, James and Josephine Kieley; and her close friend Brenda Nelson.
The family kindly requests that attendees wear masks.
