She was predeceased by: her parents, Joyce McGarrity and Francis Kale. She is survived by: her son Matthew C. Hook; her sister Deanna Migliaccio; her brother-in-law Patrick Migliaccio; her niece Jamie Migliaccio; her nephew Michael Migliaccio; her cousins, Denise Morris and Vicki Boggs; her stepmother Ellen Kale; and her pet Sofia.
A celebration of Karen's life will be held at a later date, given the pandemic.
