He was predeceased by: his parents, Lizzie Murphy and Sammie Murphy; his uncle Samuel Robertson; and his brother-in-law Albert Dronette. He is survived by: his children, Shanta, Jahi Fuller, Patricia Murphy, John Murphy, Monae Murphy and Brianna Murphy; his siblings, Colleen Speights (Dennis Parkes), James W. Murphy, Sandra (Kevin Moore), Sammie, Jr. (Janice Murphy) and Cynthia Dronette; his grandchildren, Jah and Jahi Fuller; and his close friends, Joey Moore and Sheila. He is also survived by three nieces and nine nephews; cousins; and also a group of friends.
