He was predeceased by: his wife Mavis Adams; his siblings, Roosevelt, Bernie, George, Paul, Charles Adams, Bell Adams, Fannie Dumas, Elease Jackson, Rallie Mells and Annie Evans; his mother-in-law Zena Gordon Walker; and his sisters-in-law, Loretta Bell and Mattie Harris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gloria Jean Anderson (Paul) of Willingboro, NJ and Elaine Adams Smith of Willingboro, NJ; his sister Elizabeth Clark; his sister-in-law Edith Adams of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Tanisha R. Smith (Oscar) of Willingboro, NJ and Shawn Adams (Zuri) of Philadelphia, PA; his great grandchildren, Reginald Makhi Bethea, Jr. of Willingboro, NJ, Rajan Malik Bethea of Willingboro, NJ, Marcus Robert Powell of Willingboro, NJ, Jayla of Willingboro, NJ, Sabria of Willingboro, NJ and Tra of Willingboro, NJ; and his close friend Henrietta Cleveland of Pemberton, NJ. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
