She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick W. and Rose G. Olessi, Jr.; her husband Donald D. Shaw; and her sister Sally Maida. She is survived by: her sister Theresa Olessi; her daughters, Cynthia and Kathleen; and her brother-in-law Vincent Maida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, several dear friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
