He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Iris Maldonado. He is survived by: his wife Rosaura Maldonado; his children, Lillian Maldonado Ruiz (Baleriano), Gloria Pineda (Antonio) and Herminio Maldonado, Jr.; his brothers, Felipe Maldonado and Jaime Maldonado (Sara); and his grandchildren, Jose Perez (Olga), Karla Perez, Mariela L. Rivera (Phillip Patterson), Edwin Pineda, Leslie Pineda and Neida A. Pineda. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
