She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Encarnación and Anastasia Sierra; her son Felipe Rafael Ortiz; and her granddaughter Ann Kent Hilferty. She is survived by: her husband Sebastian; her children, Sebastian Antonio Ortiz, Jr. (Dawn), Alicia Gloria Hilferty (James Vincent), Gladys Maria Ortiz and Ana Hilda Berdecía (Enrique); her grandchildren, Sabrina Tyson, Joaquin Ortiz, Toni Ortiz, Victoria Adele Swope (Derik), Veronica Marie Hilferty, Christina Rose Hilferty, Javier Enrique Brown, Amanda Lynn Fenderson (Jabrelle), Adán Enrique Berdecía (Kathryn) and Gabriel Sebastian Berdecía (Staicy); her great grandchildren, Taj, Robert Tyson, Jabrelle, Noelle, Maxwelle Fenderson, Daniel, Jericho and Hope Berdecía; and her siblings, Cano Sierra (Pepito) and Jovita Sierra. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and other relatives.
