He was predeceased by: his mother Jesusa Medina Deleon; and his brother Wilfredo Deleon. He is survived by: his father Hipolito Deleon, Sr.; his son Gilberto Deleon, Jr (Shameka); his brothers, Orlando Deleon (Lainie) and Hipolito Deleon, Jr. (Marisol); and his grandsons, Quashawn Emanuel and Quahsir Deleon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
