He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Montalvo Martinez; and his daughters, Myrna Rivera and Cynthia Martinez. He is survived by: his son Felix Martinez, Jr. (Aura Martinez); his grandchildren, Elias Rivera Jr., Natalie Martinez, Christian Daniels and Monica Martinez; and his great grandchildren, Julian Higgins and Nova Rose Parrott.
