He was predeceased by: his wife Georgina Morales Mendoza; his children, George Mendoza, Lourdes Mendoza and Candida "Candy" Sierra; his brother Victor Mendoza; and his granddaughter Carla Diaz.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Mendoza, Jr. (Janet), Edna Diaz (Jose), Wilma Luckenbach (Ronald) and Patricia "Patty" Mendoza (Liza); his grandchildren, Yolanda Coleman, Martin "Pito" Sierra, Nydia Otteni, Eugene Mendoza III, Michael Mendoza, Christina Mendoza, Lisa Diaz, Jose Diaz, Jr., Saul Diaz, Jeremiah Diaz, Inez DeJesus and Evita Hardwick; his close friend Anna Morales; and also, Zulma, Norma and Luz.
