She is survived by: her sons, Luis Ruiz (Marisol) and Alex Ruiz (Heymi Salazar); and her grandchildren, Alex Ruiz Jr., Amanda Ruiz, Luis Ruiz Jr., Emilia Ruiz and Samantha Ruiz. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
