She was predeceased by: her parents, John Karaffa and Mary Karaffa; her son James Richard Bland Jr.; her husband Samuel E. Lizer; and her siblings, Michael J. Karaffa, Peter Karaffa, Anne Karaffa, John Karaffa, Helen McDaniel, Margaret Cook, George Karaffa, Loretta Newman and Nicholas Karaffa.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Lawrence Bland, Lucille Ann Bland of Woodbridge, VA. and Christina Lea Bland of Dracut, Mass.; her grandson Jason Bland (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Annabelle Bland and Jordan Bland (Kimberly). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
