She was predeceased by: her husband Juan Lopez Retana; her son Edgar Anibal Lopez; and her brothers, Daniel, Hernan and Reynaldo Mejia.
She is survived by: her close friend Victor Manuel Arevalo; her children, Edmundo Lopez (Yolanda) and Luis Arevalo (Justina); and her siblings, Elias Mejia, Isabel, Teresa and Mina Mejia. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
To comply with COVID-19 regulations, visitation will be limited to 35 guests at one time, all guests must wear proper face coverings and maintain social distancing.
