She was predeceased by: her sister Barbara Kearns; and her grandchildren, Michael Hitt and Christina Beckman. She is survived by: her husband Jack Hitt; her children, Brian Hitt (Kathy Anderson), Connie (Warren) and Jack A. Hitt, Jr. (Linda); her sisters, Joanne Jones (Donald) and Noreen Roberson (Rodney); her grandchildren, Kylie Diane Hitt, Brian Hitt, Jackie A. Hitt, III (Lisa Blackmon) and Jacob D. Hitt (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Max Hitt, Mason Hitt and Ryanne Blythe Hitt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
