He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Mae Butler; his daughter Kokeisha Labree Butler; his parents, Chois Butler and Sophia Butler; and his siblings, Donald Alford Thompson and Denise Butler.
He is survived by: his daughter Darnesha Butler; his stepsons, Edward Williams of Va and Jabar Conquest of Va; his grandchildren, Deanna, Javon, Nathan, Sadahphian Darryl, Bryan, Damoni, Nadira, Josiah, R'zeon, Ohnesty and Fredrick; his siblings, Chois, Anthony Butler of Trenton and Patricia (Curtis Jones); his aunt Blanche Brown (Major); and his uncle Raymond Thompson (Beverly) of Trenton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
