He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jane Kurtain (Vickers); his parents, Daniel Kurtyan and Mary Kurtyan; his sisters, Mary Rimili and Irene Dragan; and his daughter Linda Kurtain.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel J. Kurtain (Jean) of Hamilton, NJ, William Kurtain (Susan) of Princeton, NJ and Betsy Wolford (Michael) of Malvern, PA.; his grandchildren, Christy Kurtain of Hamilton, Scott Kurtain (Arrah) of Honesdale, PA, Nicole Wengerd (Joshua) of Londonderry, VT and Molly Wolford of Malvern, PA; his stepgrandchildren, Brian O'Flaherty (Catherine) of Boston, MA and Katie Williams (Mark) of Charleston, SC.; his great grandchildren, Mia and Wren; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Meghan, Liam and Luke.
