We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2012, at the age of 73, Arlene Godwin (Trenton, New Jersey), born in Fort Valley, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Lee and Samantha Gorman; and her siblings, Pearline, Daisy Lee, Mittie, Jessie Bell, Archie Mae, Jack and Charles.
She is survived by: her husband Martin Godwin of Trenton; her sisters, Annie Ruth Riggins of Leesburg, FL, Lizzie Mae Brown of Leesburg, FL and Diane Ferguson of Leesburg, FL; and her siblings-in-law, Venera Godwin, Lillie Mae Turner (Raymond), Larue Godwin, Dordean Schoolfield (George), Karen Bowen (Bryant Bagwell) and Edward Godwin (Geneva). She is also survived by two godsons, three goddaughters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives, and friends.
