It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anne Blazakis (Trenton, New Jersey), born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on June 28, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Blazakis and Katy Blazakis (Ritzakis); her brother Michael (Sophie); her brother-in-law Angelo Paratheras; and her nephew James.

She is survived by: her sister Mary Paratheras; her niece Nicolette Hendricks (Richard); her great-nephew John; her great-niece Angela; and her niece Carole Boccanfuso (Frank). She is also survived by many great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and godchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make memorial donations in Anne's name to either Saint George's Greek Orthodox Church or Covenant House at 330 Washington St. Newark, NJ 07102.

“Dear Mary, Nikki and family, Anne always had a special place in my heart. We certainly had fun times having desserts with our group years ago. Of course we two "bad" girls were smokers back then but we were smart enough to quit which was not an easy feat. When I think of Anne it is always with a sense of humor which I am sure her family will dearly miss. I hope that Anne is at peace and that some beautiful music will accompany her soul.
