It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Virginia Jarvis (Trenton, New Jersey), who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Mapp and Naomi Brickhouse (Mapp); and her daughters, Bernadette Hugh and Felicia Jarvis. She is survived by: her children, Toni Latimer of Philadelphia, PA, Cynthia Butler of Edgewater Park, NJ, Kelvin, Naomi Hugh of Clementon, NJ, Kevin, Yvonne Hugh of Willingboro, NJ, Valerie Hugh-Crudup of Hamilton, NJ and Hope Jarvis of Morrisville, PA; her grandchildren, Sabrina Hugh, Robert Dunn, Latoya Taylor, Shakeeta Hugh, Ian Richardson, Danieal Hugh, Sadiyyah Latimer, Alonzo Hugh, Achaia Koennecke, Tyree Hugh, Brittany Butler, Barry Smith, Joshua Hugh and Jaden Stills; her close friends, Jeanette Rust and Wanda Prowell; and her granddaughters, Jamillah Abdullah and Tukesia Bell. She is also survived by great grandchildren, and 6 surviving great-great grandchildren.
