He was predeceased by: his wife Viola Benden; his close friend Margaret Keates; his parents, Margaretta Benden and Percy Benden; his sister Ruth Connelly; and his grandson Cory Trenary.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie Trenary (Rich Kowal), Kathleen Benden (Richard Bendix) and Lynn Benden (Robert Nowicki); his grandsons, Michael Trenary and Timothy Trenary; his great grandchild Xaria Trenary; his nephew Ron Connelly; his adoptive daughters, Shelley, Joanne, Doreen, Patty, Gail and Sue; and also, Jim and John.
