He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sons, Kyle Jeffrey and Jack Barend; his siblings, Barbara Leskanic (Bruce), Rear Admiral John Tammen Jr. (Linda) and Jim Tammen (Susan); his siblings-in-law, Dan Kiefte (Nicole) and Janet Sweetman; and his nieces and nephews, Barry, Suzanne Kiefte, Tyler, Corey, Erin, Kelly, James 'JT', Justin, Andrew, Henry, Shannon, Mia, Alexis and Emily.
