He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Nicola and Jane Sisco Nicola; his wife Katherine "Kay" Keogh; his children, Gail Toth, Bill Toth, Dawn O'Grady, Jim O'Grady, Kristine Deaver and Dennis Deaver; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Julianna Toth, Kaylee and Leah O'Grady; and his nieces, Diane Wittig, Kelly Godshall, Linda Stevens, Karen Haupt and Cathy Peter.
