He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn Haessig; his children, David A. Haessig, Jr. (Kathleen), James Haessig (Beth) and Thomas Haessig (Dawn); his sister Betty Smith; his grandchildren, Ryan, Meagan, Daniel, Peter, Thomas and Stephanie; and his great grandchildren, Jack and Elise.
