He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald McAteer and Rita McAteer; his wife Donna "Squirrel" of Totowa; his children, Melissa "Miss" DeLucca (Jason) of Wayne, Thomas "Tommy" McAteer of West Milford and Shawn "Monk" McAteer of Pompton Lakes; his siblings, Donald McAteer (Judith) of Toms River, NJ, James McAteer (Sue) of Toms River, William McAteer (Maria) of Bradenton, FL, Linda Iulo (Kenneth) of Bradenton, FL, Patricia McAteer of Clifton and Rita Rubestello (Paul) of Longs, SC; and his grandsons, Jason and Joseph DeLucca. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the utmost of concern related to COVID-19, masks are required at all times and a minimum of 6 feet of distance must be maintained.
