She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis W. Fitzgerald; her son Martin Fitzgerald; her brothers, Martin Barone and Robert Barone; and her parents, Martin Barone and Lillian Barone.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Fitzgerald of Morristown, Coleen Fitzgerald Brophy (Tom) of Totowa, Robert Fitzgerald (Dee) of Penn Yan, NY, Carolyn Fitzgerald Schnitter (Steve) of Dacula, GA and Kevin Fitzgerald (Rebecca) of Wantage. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home (111 Union Blvd, Totowa, NJ 07512). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. James RC Church (410 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512). A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Laurel Grove Memorial Park (295 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
