He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Zenon Montanez and Clara Montanez (Aponte); his wife Adelia Montanez (Aponte-Reyes); his daughter Maritza Roman; his grandchildren, Jessica Herrera (Victor), Christian Roman (Alexandra), Daniel Roman and Vanessa Ramos; his great grandchildren, Amelia Ann Roman, Victor Hugo Herrera and Julian Alberto Herrera; and his siblings, Irma Colon, Elsie Vasquez, Elisa Rivera, Carmen Montanez and Virtudes Vélez. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Santangelo Funeral Home (635 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ 07424). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
