He is survived by: his wife Deanna Amato (Tiner); his children, Nicole Bruno (Matthew), Jessica Amato (James Verdegaal) and Thomas Amato Jr. (Lori); his sister Joanna Pulidore; and his grandchildren, Kevin Larson, Evan, Adeline Bruno, Willem and Theo Verdegaal. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
