She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schmelzeisen and Mary Schmelzeisen; her husband John Onorato; and her sister Mary Schmelzeisen. She is survived by: her children, Antoinette Nelli, Richard Nelli, Robert Nelli (Rosalie) and Diane Grillo; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Carbonara (Joe), Victoria Ingram (Stuart), Robert Nelli, Lauren Gmur, Alex Gmur, Veronica Grillo and Thomas Grillo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals (3377 US-9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:30 AM.
