She is survived by: her husband Edward; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Carolyn; her sons, David and Tommy; her daughter-in-law Sherry; her son Danny; her daughter-in-law Lisa; her daughter Linda; her daughter-in-law Stacey; her grandchildren, Sarah Beth (Adam Wood), Laura, Evan and Jarrod; and her great grandchildren, Daniel, Catherine, John and Andrew Wood.

“I just found out that my dear old friend Ruth has passed away, and I am so saddened. I wish a family member had contacted me. She was like a mom to me and always there offering comfort and advice. We lived across the street from her and Eddie for 14 years. She was remarkable, and I loved her so very much.”
