We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2023, at the age of 98, Rita Policastro of Toms River, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William and Lucy Ackerman. She is survived by: her spouse Pat; her son Gregory; her daughter-in-law Arlene of Iselin, NJ.; her daughter Janet; her son-in-law John of Maryland; her granddaughter Jessica; her grandson-in-law Brian of Maryland; her great grandchildren, Conor and Lauren; and her sisters, Patricia Uhrig of Newark, NJ and Johanna Mele of Tuckerton, NJ. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, and many wonderful neighbors.
