With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Patricia Mary Shaughnessy (Toms River, New Jersey), born in Red Bank, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Patricia left this world on February 14, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jane Dougherty and Frederick Gartz; and her daughter Patricia Susan Shaughnessy. She is survived by: her children, Maryann Cohea, Michael Shaughnessy (Claire) and Sara Sturgess; and her grandchildren, Colin Shaughnessy, Conor Cohea, Meghan Shaughnessy and Levi Sturgess.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (2170 NJ-88, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Dominic's Church (250 Old Squan Rd, Brick Township, NJ 08724). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (62 Cedar Grove Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753).
