Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol. He is survived by: his son Scott Nicklus (Nicole); his granddaughters, Robyn Dauster, Kellie Nicklus and Heidi Nicklus; and his great grandchildren, Aubree Fitch and Everly Dauster.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home (306 E Ridgewood Ave, Ridgewood, NJ 07450). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Valleau Cemetery (546 Franklin Turnpike, Ridgewood, NJ 07450).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association and the Captain Dillon Rinaldo Foundation.
