With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Joseph McGuire Jr. of Toms River, New Jersey, who passed away on June 1, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John McGurie and Brigid McGurie; his in-laws, Everett and Ida Schaffer; and his siblings, Thomas "Brut" McGuire, Charles "Bob" McGuire and Maureen O'Connor.
He is survived by: his sister Elaine Jensen; his children, Ann McGuire, Eileen (Frank Verde), Retired Marine, John McGuire (Martha), Patricia R. N. (Bill Grande), Timothy McGuire (Leslie) and Marie (Joseph Krupinski); his grandchildren, Corinne, Brian, Eileen (Mike), Christine (Nick), Megan (Dave), Katie, Sean, Matthew, Grace, Patricia (Patrick), Krystyna, John, Owen and Molly; and his great grandchildren, Audrey, Sophia and Evan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Saint Jude's Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
