It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawn McLaughlin Wilson of Toms River, New Jersey, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Dawn McLaughlin leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Dawn McLaughlin may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her sister Dina. She is survived by: her parents, Maryann Scoppa and Jim Scoppa; her husband Shaun Wilson; her children, Ian and Kiera; her siblings, Jim Scoppa (Leah) and Julie Willson (Matt); and her mother-in-law Sue Wilson. She is also survived by 3 nephews and 3 nieces.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Coastal Christian Church (2577 Tilton Rd, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a GoFundMe set up to support her children.
