With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Harbord of Toms River, New Jersey, who passed away on January 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alfred shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alfred farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Harbord and Herta Harbord; his wife Ruth Harbord; and his brothers, Harold and Gerhard Harbord.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Harbord (Sergio Fernandez) and Michael Harbord, Sr.; his grandchildren, Mikayla and Michael Jr.; and his brother Egmont Harbord (Rosa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kedz Funeral Home (1123 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ 08753). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (62 Cedar Grove Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753).
