Hayes (Tinton Falls, New Jersey), born in East Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schlachter and Ruth Schlachter; her close friend Joe; and her brother Edward "Eddie" Schlachter (Mary Lou). She is survived by: her children, Ruth Ellen Dalina (John), Joseph Hayes (Camille), Edward Hayes (Linda) and Thomas Hayes (Regina); and her grandchildren, Sean, Katelyn (Jon), Joseph, Devin (Tamera), Matthew, Colleen, Ryan, Eddie, Thomas, Christopher (Gabriella) and Olivia.
